African Rhino Peri-Peri Peppers
Sauce |
This comes in like 4 heat levels:
Mild, Medium, Hot and Extra Hot. I have tried the Mild and Hot and
would say there really is only a slight difference in the heat
difference. That being said, This is really a great sauce.
Peri-Peri chilli peppers which are used in this sauce can only be
found in a small portion of the African coast and have a great
flavor. This sauce also has a Mesa type thickness to it that I like
but I can’t figure out where it comes from as the ingredients don’t
hint at it. Try this sauce – You will be hooked. The heat level is
Low/Medium for up to the “Hot” version.

Blair’s
Death Sauce |
This is a
great tasting sauce. I like the slight chipolte flavor and the
Lime/Cilantro flavors are just below the surface. I like this one as
an additive to Enchilada sauce or Chili. The heat level is Low/Medium. |
|
Blair’s
After Death Sauce |
Well,
definitely kicked up a few notches from the original! This sauce needs
to be used a bit more sparely but, I still LOVE it! The only difference
from the original is added pepper extract however; it’s a big heat
difference! The Heat Level is High/Medium |
|
Bone
Suckin’ Hiccupin’ Hot Sauce |
Well, I love the Bone
Suckin’ BBQ sauce so I was really looking forward to this one. This
sauce is a very close cousin to the BBQ sauce and reminds me of it with
just more heat. A good sauce to use in place of BBQ sauce on
Hamburgers, Hot Dogs or French Fries. The heat level is Low. |
|
Busha
Browne’s Hot Pepper Sauce |
Where have I been
hiding that I have not tasted this sauce before? This sauce is very
good and a bit hotter than the old standard Tabasco sauce out there.
Nice flavor and consistency. The heat level is Medium. |
|
Choula
Hot Sauce |
Well, it
makes sense to me that Mexico would have a hot sauce or two! This
Mexican import is nicely done and nicely priced. Even though Vinegar is
the listed first ingredient I didn’t really taste it – as to say, it
wasn’t overpowering. The heat level is Low. |
|
FrostBite Hot Sauce |
Now this is unique! This is a clear
sauce with an iridescence to it. When looking at it in it’s clear
bottle and seeing the glow it reminds you of a potion of some sort
that I was at first, a little unsure if it was safe to digest. But,
my fears were allayed –This is a nice sauce. It’s even water soluble
to be an additive to other liquids! I put a few drop in my Lemonade
and fell in love with it. It makes your lips a little numb which to
me was a cool feeling (I could be strange that way I don’t know). The
hest level is Medium.

Goin’
Bananas Hot Sauce |
I first
though it was strange to see hot sauces with fruit flavors until I tried
one! Excellent! This sauce is so good that I use it to dip Tortilla
chips in. Try it – you’ll like it. The heat level is Low |
|
Great White Shark Predator Hot
Sauce |
OhMyGOd!! I read the ingredients
of this sauce and saw that it contained fruits like Papaya, Pineapple
and Banana along with real fruit juices and though that the label
warning me to use one drop at a time was just hype. I was wrong!
This stuff almost killed me. Please take heed of the warning! The
heat level is Higher the High.

|
Hog’s
Ass Garlic Habenero Sauce |
With a
name like this you got to be good! Having Garlic in the name is
appropriate because this sauce is loaded with it! It’s hot but, I can
take it. I use this one often. The heat level is High/Medium |
|
Jim Beam Hot Sauce |
I tried this sauce as a whim
expecting it to be bland and to confirm my prejudicial beliefs that BBQ
sauce companies should stay out of the Hot Sauce game. It has changed
my mind somewhat on that stance. This is a good sauce and I can find it
for cheap in my area which is a bonus. I would recommend it. The heat
level is Low. |
|
Joe
Perry’s Rock your World Bone Yard Brew Sauce |
Love the
name. The sauce is thicker that most hot sauces and definitely has a
big chipotle flavor. A little closer to BBQ sauce I would say and has a
nice use of fresh tasting ingredients. The heat level is Low/Medium |
|
Joe
Perry’s Mango Peach Tango Sauce |
Another
great name and good looking label (if your into that sort of thing).
Love this sauce! Great as a dipping sauce with Chicken. |
|
Mad Cat
Hot sauce |
This sauce
is packed with the freshest tasting ingredients! Great sauce. One of
my Favorites. The heat level is Low/Medium |
|
Mad Dog
Liquid Fire hot sauce |
This sauce
was my first experience into the hot sauce world apart from the ol’
Tabasco bottle. It taught me not to be afraid and to try new things. I
will always have a special place in my heart and refrigerator for this
one. Thanks for being so gentle and good! The heat level is
Low/Medium |
|
Mountain Man Fire Roasted Habanero Sauce |
Who came
up with the name for this one? With all the great names out there
that’s the best you could do? If the name was a little better I bet
you would have heard of this sauce because it is great! I really like
the roasted habeneros in this – adds terrific flavor. The heat level is
Medium. |
|
Mountain Man Roasted Corn Garlic
and Chipotle sauce |
Well, I really like the original
Mountain Man sauce so I gave this one a try. I’m glad I did! It’s now
my favorite “chipotle” sauce. The down side? I can’t seem to
purchase it anywhere – I will keep trying. The heat level is
Low/Medium
|
|
Orange
Krush, the Habanero sauce |
See?
Better name. I don’t know what made me think I was ready for this
sauce! I guess I am getting too cocky. It’s a good sauce and I like it
but, it takes me a day or two to recover. The heat level is
High/Medium |
|
Scorned Woman Hot Sauce |
I liked the name of this sauce and
it’s tag line “Hell Hath No Fury Like A Scorned Woman” – I thought “oh
this should be good”. At first taste the Black pepper in this sauce
is really pronounced and while checking the ingredients I see that it
has like 5 different pepper in it. I thought “this is not that hot of
a sauce in the heat department but, I like the flavor” and then like
20 seconds later the heat hit me like a bus! This sauce deserves it’s
tag line – watch out! The heat level is a High.

|
Smack
my Ass and call me Sally |
With a
name and label like this I just had to try it. Good sauce, nice flavor
and my speed (about a 6 on the 1-10 scale) I like the use of carrots in
it. Different. The heat level is Medium |
|
Smuggler's Run Pirate Hot Sauce |
This just recently won a Scovie
award so, I was anxious to give it a try. I can see why it won an
award. This sauce has a simple list of ingredients with a great
taste. The sauce is packed with Scotch Bonnet pepper seeds, is a nice
consistency and is HOT. I think you’ll like it. The heat level is
High/Medium.
|
|
Snake Bite Habanero Hot Sauce |
This is another 2005 Scovie award
winner. Great packaging, comes with a little plastic snake and has a
terrific name. I liked it
|
|
Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce |
Wow. This
sauce is awesome! I can use this on anything. It comes in a good size
bottle and is cheap too. Bonus! Must be the sugar in it that I like.
The heat level is Medium |
|
Whoopin’
Ass Chipotle Fire sauce |
Great
packaging of the bottle – worth it just for that. The sauce is good
but, I little thin if you know what I mean. Can be used liberally.
The heat level is Low |
