New Ghost Pepper Sauce Gives Consumers True Taste of World’s Hottest Pepper

Creator of the world’s hottest sauces introduces Mad Dog 357 Pure Ghost edition, celebrating the world’s hottest pepper – The Bhut Jolokia.

Sudbury, MA (PRWEB) October 21, 2009 – Ashley Food Company, known for its world famous Mad Dog 357 Hot Sauces, has created yet another reason for extreme hot sauce lovers and collectors to make new room on their shelves. Called Mad Dog 357 Pure Ghost Hot Sauce, this new extreme hot sauce features the world-record setting Bhut Jolokia pepper from Northeastern India, also known as the “Ghost Pepper”.

“The Ghost is truly one of the most unique peppers in the world, not only for its record-setting heat but also for its unique earthy flavor,” says David Ashley, master sauce crafter and president of Ashley Foods. “The goal was to create a sauce that would bring out the Ghost Pepper’s unique qualities of extreme heat and signature flavor, without the need for additional pepper extracts.”

Living up to the general fear of ghosts and all they conjure up, Pure Ghost Hot Sauce includes, as its key ingredient, the ghost pepper, and features a distinct metallic label with an ominous skull and glowing red eyes. The bottle also includes a brief story about ghosts and all that the world has come to love and fear about this “diabolical specter”.

“The term ‘Ghost’ has been used to describe many things in this world, from the supernatural to special forces in the military and now to a pepper,” says Ashley. “Mad Dog 357 Pure Ghost Hot Sauce was specifically created to celebrate any and all of the ghosts that people may know and believe in.”

Ashley Food Company creates and sells a range of hot and extreme hot sauces, pepper extracts and barbeque sauces that are distributed and sold throughout the world.
Chief Alchemist, David “Mad Dog” Ashley did it again. He just introduced a new addition to the famous line of Mad Dog sauces by Ashley Food Company, Inc. It’s called Envy. Unlike the typical, macho hot sauces on the market, Envy is blended by hand, in small batches, and has a potent blast of green flavor.

Sudbury, MA (PRWEB), September 27, 2010 — Breaking up with the love of your life is painful. Ashley Food Company has a spicy, new remedy: a very rare jalapeno extract hot enough to mend a broken heart. Massachusetts connoisseur, David “Mad Dog” Ashley, invented this potent blast of green flavor “to help you discover your inner Mona Lisa.” Unlike the typical, macho hot sauces on the market, Envy is blended by hand, in small batches and cooked to perfection. The newest addition to the famous Mad Dog repertoire by Ashley Food Company is all-natural, just like the other 23 sauces on Ashley Food Company, Inc.

When asked what inspired David to create this variety, the founder and President boasts, “I set out to brew a hot sauce that was the ‘envy’ of my competitors. I dubbed it Envy to describe the all natural power of the ingredients and its irresistible flavor.” The ingredients are simple, but the flavor is unique. The label on every bottle of Envy suggests it is strong enough to turn bright eyes beautifully green.

Select jalapeno peppers, lime juice, chopped garlic, sweet onions and plenty of cilantro make this all-natural hot sauce irresistible to the broken hearted, according to some accounts. One woman revealed how she got over her break-up so quickly. Maria Valtorta of Philadelphia, PA reports “Rather than throw a pity party and get angry, I got Envy. I invited my friends over for some strong Margaritas and spiced up the salsa with plenty of Envy. I felt as powerful as the Mona Lisa.”

Research has shown that chili peppers can speed up your metabolism and burn calories. Several new customers have claimed an interesting side effect: a dose of Envy seemed to spice up their love lives. Julie Hutchinson of San Antonio, Texas reports “I tried Envy and it worked like magic. It added a new kick to Bubba’s old, favorite tortilla soup recipe and made us feel warm all over. You got to have it.”

B&O Ghost Train, like the other fine sauces B&O sauces (Fire Box, Iron Thunder, and Thunder Fire) features absolutely fresh ingredients that shone through in the taste of the sauce. Ghost Train, as you might have guessed from the name of the sauce, is built upon a foundation of Bhut Jolokia peppers (the ghost pepper). But that’s not all folks. There’s also Peri-Peri peppers thrown in for good measure, along with a little pepper extract. Combine those ingredients with vinegar, tomato, garlic, onion, molasses, salt, and assorted herbs, you’ve got yourself something special.

I have always dug the taste of the Peri-Peri and the jolokia. They are rather similar and compliment one another well in this hot sauce blend. The combination also produces a blistering explosion that will leave heat seekers smiling from one ear to the other.

Ghost Train works very well in a number of circumstances. It’s an excellent add in to any salsa or cheese, it tastes great in chili, and works well as a steak sauce. It definitely isn’t for those who can’t stand the heat, though. The burn is almost instant and lingers lasts for some time, but it is a heat that chili heads well satisfied.

I’m a barbecue nut. There are a lot of great hot barbecue sauces on the market, but if you don’t happen to have one on hand, try using Ghost Train as the basis for your own sauce. Mix it with some tomato sauce, molasses, liquid smoke, and butter for a sauce you can spread over your barbecue.

This one has a nice, medium pore, great aroma, super heat, and the taste only a sauce crafted with skill can produce.

Aged red peppers, salt, vinegar, garlic, chipotle peppers, and spices blend together and co-mingle in this incredible basic pepper sauce and deliver and potent, mouth-watering sauce that can be used in a variety of ways. Use it straight from the bottle or add it to your favorite foods during the cooking process to add not only a touch of heat, but a flavor boost as well.

Basic pepper sauces are a staple for heat lovers. They are usually made with cayenne peppers or some similar chili peppers, based heavily in vinegar, with a touch of salt. If the balance is right, nothing beats a good pepper sauce. If the balance is off, it goes down the drain. In Iron Thunder, just like its sister B&O sauces, the Iron Thunder comes on with all the power of a freight train and pleases the palette the way only the most well-crafted hot sauces do. There’s intense flavor here, both in the blend of, and the freshness of, the ingredients.

I use this sauce frequently in my chili, on my scrambled eggs, and in healthy doses splashed into beef stew. It’s great on tacos, burritos, and anything even remotely Mexican in origin as well. Although I have several wing sauce recipes, I found that half a bottle of this, along with butter, makes a great wing sauce all by itself.

B&O sauces come in extremely collectible bottles, so not only should you buy a bottle of each to use, it’s a good idea to purchase one you don’t want to open. Keep it on your shelf for decorative purposes.

Another great sauce in the choo-choo train line. Thunder fire lives up to the B&O’s Ghost Train, Iron Thunder, and Fire Box sauces by delivering a powerful punch in a well-crafted sauce. This sauce features a nice pour with a lot of ingredients floating in the mix. Ingredients here include habanero peppers, red wine vinegar, lime juice, cilantro, garlic, and onions. The emphasis is on fresh, as it is with all these sauces, and the balance of flavor is so delightfully artistic that you can’t help but fall in love with this stuff.

The beauty of Iron Thunder lies not only in its taste, bottle design (like all B&O Railroad sauces), and texture, but in its consistently good interaction with whatever foods you choose to use it with. I use it at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, pouring it on and in whatever foods I happen to be eating, all to great effect.

This is a table sauce. That means you can put it on your table and use it frequently. The inclusion of all fresh ingredients here — especially the cilantro — gives this sauce a bright, clean taste you will find yourself craving often.

Thunder Fire is bursting with he flavor of its ingredients, which balance so well together and work toward the same end — bringing out the taste of the food you use it with. It’s a versatile sauce you can apply freely to just about anything, without fear that it will overpower. This particular sauce isn’t so hot you won’t be able to stand it, but it does have a nice warmth that will add just the right amount of heat to your food without sacrificing taste.

If you’re looking for a sauce that tastes great, compliments your food, and can be used in a variety of culinary situations, both cooking and dining, this is a sauce (along with the other three B&O sauces) you’ll want to stock up on.

I’ve found a line of sauces that hit the mark every time. B&O Railroad sauces are right on track. Fire Box is the sauce I’m talking about now, but other great B&O Railroad sauces include Ghost Train, Iron Thunder, and Thunder Fire. B&O Fire Box is an extremely well balanced hot sauce, crafted from the finest ingredients and meant to put a kick in your pants. This sauce was named after the hottest part of the steam engine, and with good reason. Fresh habanero peppers, vinegar, lime juice, onion, garlic, and evaporated cane juice make up the fuel that fires this sauce. Fresh is the key. This is one of those sauces that put fresh on the map. You can taste it in every bite.

What I find particularly inviting about this sauce (as well as the others) is the balance of ingredients. The habaneros are at the forefront, with the overtone of lime running a close second. The other ingredients make their presence known. The garlic is pretty sharp in the mix from the instant you open the bottle, but it never overpowers — in fact, it only compliments the overall flavor structure of this sauce.

I use this sauce as a straight chip dip. It’s that damn good. While it is satisfactorily hot, an experienced heat lover will be able to eat it without the benefit of anything to drink or anything to take the edge off. You don’t want to take the edge off. It’s a perfect heat that lingers on your tongue and warms the gullet. Good stuff all the way around.

In addition to the gourmet taste, aroma, and texture, this sauce also has a very cool label, as do all the other sauces in this line. If you’re a train aficionado, you’ll truly appreciate the label artwork and the train-themed names for this sauce. The bottles are as interesting to read as the sauces are to eat. Add Fire Box to your shelf or keep it on your table, along with all the other great train sauces.
